To ensure the security and integrity of all information assets, we work to strict IT and physical security standards, including adherence to the requirements of regulatory bodies on data protection, user account administration, password change and intruder detection lockout policies. Our policy has been created in consultation with specialists in the relevant fields, which allows us to protect against threats now and in the future.
We are currently driving towards compliance with ISO 27001 – the international standard for Information Security Management Systems with many of the requirements already satisfied.
We can offer the facility for secure transfer and storage of data during the course of a project and maintain documented evidence of destruction of any information assets. A daily back-up infrastructure is in place to ensure continuity in the event of data corruption or loss, our environmentally controlled and surge protected systems help minimise this occurrence.
Data and confidentiality contracts are already in place with many of our customers and we actively participate in third party audits to continually improve and meet client requirements. Our staff are similarly contracted as part of their terms and conditions of employment and are fully aware of their responsibilities regarding security. Optichrome is registered to provide services under the Data Protection Act.
