OPTICHROME BLOG Hot off the press

Our latest apprentice begins his first day at Optichrome

As part of our #ThrowbackThursday series last month we showed how important apprentices have been to Optichrome throughout the years, with some great photos of our current staff back during their training in the early 90s. This month, we can share how we’re continuing this tradition today.

The latest addition to our team (and our long line of apprentices) is James Burton, who began his career with us as an apprentice print finisher at the beginning of the month.  Following his time training in all of our departments, James has been placed under the tutelage of long-standing print finisher Gary Udal, who will make a fantastic mentor.

Training young apprentices is vital to the progression of our industry, and we’re very happy to welcome James into this dynamic climate.

Our new apprentice begins his first day, Good Luck James.
