History in Film – People
Since its formation in 1963, Optichrome has relied heavily on the expertise and dedication of individuals employed within the organisation. In this third instalment of our History in Film video series, we have pulled together a collection of clips showing the people who committed their time and effort to Optichrome between 1969 and 1977. Do you recognise anyone?
We always endeavour to employ the most capable staff, accomplished in their respective areas, and encourage them to continue developing throughout their time at Optichrome. As a result, we are proud to have many employees who have been with us for a considerable amount of time, with some having stayed for over 40 years.
We are also proud to be guiding in the next generation of print staff by maintaining the apprenticeship scheme instated by our founder, Ted Stevens – a great advocate for training and growth amongst staff, and whose philosophy we maintain today.
