Built to last – Heidelberg GTO

In 2013 Heidelberg announced it would phase out production of its GTO (Grosser Tiegel Offset) 52 series two colour printer.

For many companies this modern classic has been the work horse of the factory and has played an integral part of the daily work flow.At Optichrome we still use our GTO today, for printing post marks on envelopes, as you see in this video and also printing letterheads and business cards.

The GTO was launched at Drupa in 1972 and has since sold 106,000 units worldwide. We value it for its reliability, ease of use and the consistently high quality finish it produces.
